Day Centre Drop Off and Collection
Sometimes older people who live alone may feel socially isolated, spending long periods of time without any company. They may have home carers going in once or twice a day, but this is often the only company they have and the time between visits can be very lonely. To them, our day care centres give them an opportunity to get out and meet people. They can help people to establish a new social circle and enjoy the companionship of others, which can often lead to lasting friendships.
They are also ideal for people caring for relatives at home, who need a regular break for some ‘me time’, with the peace of mind of knowing their loved one is in safe hands and enjoying a break of their own..
We will collect you from inside your home, we help you with getting your coat and shoes on. We escort you from your front door to our vehicle making sure you are safe and buckled up. We drive you to your day care centre and upon arrival we assist you to where you need to be. At the end of the day we will drive you home safely, assist you back indoors and make sure you are comfortable with a cup of tea in hand before we leave, offering the complete care package door to door.
